Important reminder: Although GPC is considered a “points league”, our rankings differ slightly from standard points formats because of HOW our format utilizes the player scores from game to game. Higher ceiling players are usually valued more, and higher floor players might be valued less, since consistency and totals aren’t as relevant. Our rankings reflect this.

Below are my top 100 projections for this upcoming season. Recent injury news to players like Brandon Ingram have been taken into account as of the end of September. Lots of movement from the end of last season, with numerous players hopefully returning to form after some very long absences. This meant several players who made the top 20 last year aren’t projected to repeat. In fact, over 1/5th of last year’s final top 100 players are nowhere to be found in the list below. Also worth noting is two rookies made my top 100: Cam Boozer (84) and Caleb Wilson (94).

Of course, games played is a huge part of where these guys ultimately finish. I took each player individually and didn’t necessarily predict how many games they would play but just if they would play more or less than last year. In some cases, that was the biggest factor in moving them up or down. In other cases, new environments or new teammates were the most significant factor. We all have our own guesses as to what’s going to shake out. Here’s mine:

Some honorable mentions that fell just outside the top 100: Neemias Queta, Jerami Grant, Tre Jones, Fred VanVleet, Andrew Nembhard, Ayo Dosunmu, Day’ron Sharpe, Alex Sarr, Jabari Smith, and Anthony Black.
